Steel pannist Aaron Abrahamson Cote is one of the most viewed steel pan artists of recent years - a viral sensation due to his artistry, musical taste, and versatility. Cote's videos have gained attention from bands including Sublime, 311, Steel Pulse, Green Day, NOFX, The Offspring, The Spin Doctors, The Interrupters, The Movement.  His videos feature collaborations with Sonic Youth, Eek-A-Mouse, Inner Circle, Black Uhuru, iNi Kamoze, The Aggrolites, Five Iron Frenzy, members of Stick Figure, and dozens of other bands.

Classically trained at the university level, Cote spent several years performing on cruise lines in lounge and show bands, backing television and stage actors.  He has toured coast to coast, and extensively throughout the Caribbean.  Cote has been featured as a musical guest on stage with Bobby McFerrin, Roots of Creation/Grateful Dub, The Slackers, Bim Skala Bim, members of Slightly Stoopid, and more.  Active as a freelance and solo artist, he also regularly performs with The Sunshine Melodies, The Copacetics, and The Island Time Steel Band.  He has recorded for artists in Europe, Asia, South America, and throughout North America.

Cote has been the house steel pannist at The Ocean House properties for 14 years, and has also been featured regularly at Aqua at the Providence Marriott, Weekapaug Inn, The Ocean Mist, Galilee Beach Club, Bowen's Wharf, The Holland America and Celebrity Cruise Lines, and will be performing at the Supernova International Ska Festival from September 11-13, 2026.
